Xvid Settings

Hi, what's the best FULL settings to use when encoding movies? If someone has them and has Virtual Dub, could they send me the process file? I can get perfect quality at a low file size, but the framerate is too jerky.. sometimes drops to 2fps.

Encoding type 2 pass
Target Bitrate 900kbps
