Hi, I have a new unregistered sim card, I have no credit in it, to get 'free credit' I need the phone number to register it!

I'm new to 6600, my other phone had a 'my numbers' folder with sim number already there, is there one in the 6600?
Is there another way to find out sim number before adding credit?
