Nokia 1101 - advice please

I am hoping one of the many experts on this forum can advise me concerning a friend's phone that I promised to help unlock for him. It is a Nokia 1101 locked to the Spanish provider Movistar prepaid. On the Nokia calculator under DCT4 I can select Movistar DCT4, but I am not sure whether to select ONE 32836 or ORIGINAL 32779 (as suggested on another thread) as they come up with different sets of codes. So which one is correct, or should I in fact use another one? Advice will be much appreciated.

yes, they come up with different codes because the serial variable playes an important role on the algorithm.

Both serials should work, but, for the sake of selecting one, use 32836 (ONE). Use the seventh code from the set.

Thanks for the help. I have made a note and I will do as you suggest. Unfortunately I will not be seeing him for a few weeks, and daren't let him try to do it on his own as he will probably bugger it up!
