contagios "insert sim card" message

i have one working and 2 not-working 3330.
one not-working 3330 has a broken display; the other not-working 3330 only says "insert sim card".
i made experiments dismantling and exchanging pieces: display and keyboard card and main card between the 3 phones.
when i came back to the original hardware configuration, the formerly working 3330 says only:
"insert sim card".

please suggestions

maybe you have got your phones mixed up when you were changing all the parts? if you only have one phone now thats saying "Insert SIM" then i would say that you mixed them up... otherwise this is a hardware fault... you must check your SIM connector for damage, if its ok then reflow the SIM Switch BGA... i dont have diagrams at the moment but if you need them let me know and i will post them...

you are right.
i mixed up different phones parts.
eventually i managed to fix the good one and to repair another by matching one's good display with the other's good main card.

i thought different parts of the phone "talk" to each other to block tampering.
it is not so.

I still have one phone with this "insert sim card" (or sometimes: "sim card rejected - it depends) problem, but since i have no good display, this is not a real problem.
