8310 someone must know.............

hi someone must be able to answer my question on 8310 unlocking.

ive got a data cable for my 8310 and my phone is barred i heard you cant change the imei number so if i get a 8310 flasher cable can i put another file in to the fone and would it work im not sure how 8310s work now im not sure if it runs on a flash file (fls.) can someone please spare a few minutes to write some details for me.

1. we can't read flashes off the new phones yet

2. the flashes that are about are only the MCU and PPM (they don't contain the IMEI)

3. Exchange the phone with somebody who lives abroad and get a DCT-4 phone that barred over there because it should work in the UK.
