How is it done.

Am I missing something ? Surely there must be a formula for calculating the Unlock codes from the IMEI and Network codes and there is obviously software out there for doing it.

Where can I get this software ?

Somebody gave me the codes to unlock a 7650 today over ICQ in under 1 minute - He must simply be entering the details and clicking on GO.

How come this software hasn't made it's way onto the internet yet ? or has it ? ahhhhhhhhh

Most the guy's offering this service are not generating the codes themselves, but are simply reseller's. They get the codes in real time I expect via the web.

I hear you need some very expensive Nokia service equipment too generate these codes, but then again maybe someone knows better.

yes latest master code algo is in one of the Nokia boxes, i dont recall which model but it was very expensive.

Is it not the JBV-1? cause with that I think you can IMEI change as well.

No not convinced. Wait and see - give it a while and we'll all be able to do it, with a simple 9kb exe file.
