8310-Liquid Damaged-Wont stop vibrating

I know there is probably nothing i can personally do but thought i would ask anyway.

Got 8310 been wet, put in ultrasonic bath to clean. As soon as you put in battery it lights up and wont stop vibrating any ideas??

ultrasonic bath.... that sounds interesting...

Just try the usual, take the battery out, remove any parts you can and wash the phone in distilled / de-ionised water. Ensure the water flushes any possible dirt out of the phone.

Shake the water from the phone and leave it in a warm (not hot) location which is ventilated so the water vapour goes away for a day or so.

Inspect it to ensure it is dry and reconnect the battery.
Hopefully it should now be fine.


If not, I dunno. You could have physical damage to the phones electronics, or the water may have affected the circuits and corrupted the phones memory.
If you have the equipment you can always try a full flash.
