8310 usbdatacable?

i have bought a usbcable for my 8310 but it doesn`t works with logomanager,... because the programs only accept comports?what should i do now?

Buy a Serial Cable.

or

If your computer doesn't have a Serial port buy a USB to Serial converter box and a Serial cable.

or

Cut the USB head off and solder a Serial head in its place the wiring diagrams are all over the net.
