you see, the menu structure has a numbering on 3310:

menu-2-2 = inbox

menu-2-2-9 = open message number 9

so where is this address before it is put on screen? is it dynamically calced every time a inbox is opened. remember, that "1 Message Received. Read?" (NAV KEY) -> inbox.. not message

activate netmonitor and use menu 65

the number at up-right corner are receipt messages
the number at down-right corner are sent messages

to reset these numbers, use menu 60

that's irrelevant. we talk about the messages in the sim folders (inbox/outbox). not the total sms sent & received.
