Hello!

I tried to change some text-strings in my flashfile using Hex Workshop.... when i flash it back to the phone with rolis 4.77 it says that checksum is wrong..... and asks to repair it.... i choose yes and it flashes alright. But then when I turn on the phone it says CONTACT SERVICE..... i tried to update FAID both with rolis 1.7b, rolis 1.8 and eepromtools..... no luck..... any ideas what the problem is...

It's an 3210.

You have to calculate all the checksums before flashing the flash.
And only after that You can update Faid properly.

use ppm manager its a bit easier too

I used NFree 1.2, it worked!!
