    Hi,
I bought a Ready4U Nokia 3595 from Best Buy today, but I want to transfer my existing account. Rogers has transferred it, but my SIM card is locked.

I was wondering if you could assist me with this.

    ROGERS AT&T CANADA

Thanks in advance for your help!

I think it worked - What did I end up doing?

Username y0ke gave me an unlock code which I entered with the sim card removed
    #pw+293955522101551+1#
after I entered it it said the phone was unlocked

I turned off the phone and inserted the sim card
when I turned on the phone it was locked again
I entered the above code I received from y0ke again
and it said the phone was not locked, but it still was

so I entered the code that mickey3650 posted for me
    #pw+178064100622667+7#
I entered the code with the sim card still in the phone
it unlocked the phone and it seems to be working fine

What have I done and is everything going to be OK?

What is the difference with the codes eg. +1 or +7 what's the difference?

Why is it bad to enter in the code with the sim card installed?

In some Cases code 1 will not unlock your fone
it will only open grid 1
but there is sill 1 more grid to open that is why code 7 does the job
