Hey, I'm not sure how accurate this is, but the 3588i is CDMA and is "branded" so it really can't be unlocked like GSM phones. At least that has what I have read on a few other sites when trying to find out more on CDMA and the 3588i. There's no IMEI code, no SIM or any of the other cool stuff like on the rest of the Nokias. I have the 3588i also and have frantically been searching for info on this thing. It's not a bad phone but I just want to do more with it. I'm still trying to figure out why the Nokia software thinks my phone is the 3586i instead of the 88i and why I don't have an Applications menu available.

What software do you use for CDMA phones? The only thing I have found has been GSM specific. Thanks in advance!
