8310>6510

Morning all

I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade an 8310 to a 6510 and what the advantages would be.

I've searched the forum and no one seems to have touched on this subject.

Also does anyone know if 6510 facias will fit on an 8310

I have both a 8310 and a 6510, I think the 6510 is better tho. the 6510 has the week view calender, space impact, wallet function, auto keylock,7 battery/network bars and nice blue led's. The 6510 has a much higher resolution screen (hence space impact) but other than that the hardware is identical to look at, but no one can really back that up as yet.
Id go for the 65 anytime, much more functional.

oh yea, the 8310 case fits the 6510 with a little modification. the champagne coloured cover for the 65 is bloody horrible.

has any1 managed 2 ugrade an 8310 to a 6510? and because of the higher resolution screen, does that mean you would have to replace the original screen with a 6510 one?
