    flashy 8855 & 8250

hi i got a few questions, i a new to the world of flashing, so all help would be appreciated.

    1. i want to know if it is possible to flash a fone with a datacable.
i heard you have to plug it into the printer port or something, so can't i just get a adapter that converts the 9 pin data cable into the 25 pin connector?

    2. how do i convert a 8210 to 8250 & 8850 to 8855?
i looked on the forums, but there was no clear cut explanation. in the 8855 conversion, what chip do you have to replace?, my dad is a technician so he can install. (a tutorial with the list of programs would be nice)

    thanks!

Most people would be think, Sheesh! if this kid would JUST READ SOME OLD POSTS he would learn all this stuff.

1.> Data cable and flasher are totally different circuits. Sure, buy a plug converter, but buy a new data cable while your there. You're gunna blow up the old one.

2.> In EEprom tools click the tEST box, or use rolis 1.8 and read info. look at the bottom right corner and it tells you the ROM version.

if you have a ROM 6 8210, flash in the mcu, ppm and eeprom. Change IMEI, unlock and update FAid. See its easy.

    now, repeat after me.

    I will READ OLD POSTS,
    I will READ OLD POSTS,
    I will READ OLD POSTS..................
