    8210 some fix...but pls HELP

I have changed the Ccont to my phone ..and it does not go off anymore...but it will go off only if I try to dial or if I insert the sim and it tries 2 search for network.
    Still no network signal.
I have opened my mother board and I see a tiny chip ( antenna switch - located in the upper right) that looks like burned, but the guy from the service shop said that it isn't the fault of that chip...
I think he might be lying...what do you think????

Please help...give me any suggestions on what i might change...execpt the MAD2 cause it's glued..no change to change it.

    Thx

    is it the signal?

so you have changed the CCONT and stll no signal?what was the problem then? NO SIGNAL? if yes you have gone so far..... with NO SIGNAL:

    1. check your IF 1st FILTER then
    2. your 2nd IF filter
    3. your UHF and VHF oscillator
    4. your PA's
    5. Antenna switch
    6. CCONT
    7. COBBA

see what i mean CCOnt is secont to the last. try your antenna contacts too. search with a full battery, that the cause when it is shutting off when you search for a network. searching for network takes a lot mA of your battery.

    GOODLUCK
