i asked several times here and in other forums, no one knows what seems to be the problem, i have unlocked lots of phones , samsung type
r220,n620 etc.
all worked, i unlocked them with this software : Universal Samsung Tool, start the file usteepromwrite.exe, use that one.
anyway, i successfully unlocked it everytime i tried, well the problem is : i found a couple of n620's, well i guess both of them reported stolen, so i changed IMEI numbers, isnt that what i supposed to do ?, well, then i tried to unlock them,no luck, i mean it works now, the phone basically from orange, i want to make it simfree, it just doesnt work...
when i insert an other simcard from a different network i get the msg : "system failure, contact service provider".
yes, i tried the option : " repair system failure", i tried other softwares too, i think the problem is because its stolen, maybe something has changed in the way i have to do this...
well i have a couple of questions i want to ask :
first question :
how do i fix this , im beggin u guys if any of u know how to fix this, plz teach me!
second question :
i tried tons of sotwares for this task, none worked, execpt one which im not sure how to use, im refering to "Samsung Direct IMEI Writer" - well according to the readme file, i need to start test.exe, and download the ram from the phone, put the phone in test mode and then start IMEI.exe, then change the IMEI, well any of u tried this ? ,well i started test.exe, and started downloading the ram , i noticed it takes time, 30 min at least, so i stopped the progress, any of u can tell me how long it should take, and maybe tell me what u set in the "line setting" in the test program, whats the baud rate should be ?, data bits, stop bits, parity?
