    Question FAID, EEPROM and other things

    Hi, I've little questions to flah masters

    - where is FAID stored in the Phone?
    - what's the difference between FAID and Quick FAID?
    - my 6210 has a 32MB memory, but FULL flash is only 4MB, so what's up with the remaining meg's?
    - is it possible to flash DCT4 phone or can we only unlock them for now ???

    TIA,
    regards,

    FAID means Flash AUthority ID and it is stored into eeprom.
    There is no Quick FAID...Just knok 22 calculate FAID but with calculated PPM checksums(custom PPM) or calculates FAID only with current MSID

    Eeproms and flash are measured in Mb not in MB, I mean Mega bits, not Mega Bytes...
    Byte = 8 bits
    So if you want the flash size in MB you must divide the real size in Mb by 8...
    This is:

    MB = Mb/8

    Hope this helps
