I have tried this solution long time ago yes it is working but phone reception is not so good. In areas with low signal you will probably loose connection to network while in area with higher signal you should have no problems so the best way is to replace bad anntena switch with new one

    antenna switch solution

hey guys -this solution seems to be a bloody ripper-but i am concerned over the long term effects of this repair.
a]can this be used as a long term repair?
b]does completely excluding the diplexor cause any damage to phone?
please answer this one for me as my girlfriends phone needs surgery and i would like to try this repair, but heaven help me if I kill her phone-oh the humanity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried it but it on 8250 only work in one band and after about 2 weeks the signal disappears again and now I get more work to repair it I think this solution will make other part damage
