    Here's Your Answer

Here's the converter... it's DOS-based but it works pretty well. Just copy and paste your ringtone in a text file. Remove all the spaces and the comma after the last note.

    USAGE:

Ok... it's a nifty DOS-based program where in you can convert yung rttl to mid.

First, you must get the rttl from your sources, open a new text file and paste the rttl there (you cannot use the file with an .rtx format. Only Rttl format is accepted by the program) then put it in a folder (this will be the destination also of the new file). Please remove ALL spaces between the characters in the rttl file. Also remove the comma at the end of the rttl file (usually there is a comma there.. I don't know what it is for). Save the file in a short filename... Example, if the song name is "Quando Quando Quando" ... make the filename "Quando" only or "Q" so they program would accept it.

Now, go to your command prompt (DOS mode) and go to that folder (be sure you have extracted the rttl2mid prog in that same folder) and locate the file (/DIR). For example the rttl saved in txt is named ed.txt. To use the program... you must enter "rttl2mid ed.txt ed.mid where the ed.mid is the new filename. If done correctly, you'd get a new file.
