mini GPS with extended profiles

Hi guys,

i have a small problem with mini GPS. It doesn't change my profiles annymore when i enter a designated area.
I think this is caused by extended profiles. Does annyone has the same problem>>?<<
I Like both app a lot and whant them to work together so please help

It doesn't change the profile by my phone either.
i don't have eprofiles (doesn't work...)
Mh... some solutions?!

mini gps used to work on my phone. It was verry usefull (changing the profile on desingated places). But know i installed eprofile and afther that mini GPS and know it doesn't work annymore.

try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

create a backup of miniGPS.dbf as it contains all your settings and cell info.

I have ePROFILES v1.80 and MiniGPS v1.03, and everything is OK for me.....

so that we wrongly don't understand us, ähm, miniGPS has to run in the backround, aren't it?!
this would be a problem, after a start of the phone i only have 1,6M Mem left...

No mini gps doesn't have to run on the background. On my tel it even worked when it was compressed by sDoubler

I guess even if minigps is not running (you did not open it or is not auto-started) its module runs in the background. Use Appman and you will see it.

I, as JOSTIEKILLER also have MiniGPS compressed (but with STACKER) and it still works perfectly well (although, I think MiniGPS is an embeded app...)

miniGPS has its own profiles system, that means - it's not necessery to have installed profiles or eProfiles to your symbian to allow your GPS program 2 change its own profiles system. Just as other people said - try to restore
/ uninstall / miniGPS. Good luck !!!

I agree with the rest... miniGPS works still even if the progy is compressed or not launched. May be u can try to reinstall the version of miniGPS that you have and probably this can fix everything.
