GIF files as 7650 WALLPAPERS

i uploaded several animated GIF files that i downloaded from this forum to my friend's 7650.

i was wondering why the animation didn't loop (repeat). when i viewed the GIF on my PC, the animation was looped.

is this really how it is with the 7650?

the 7650 does not have native support for animated GIFs. u need to use PsiNT eProfiles to do this.

Yeah eProfiles does it but when using animated GIF as wallpaper, the "new message" doesn't appear when new SMS is received.

Hey if i want to set a gif animation as my wallpaper and i want it ot keep looping continuously (aslong as the standby screen is visible), how do i go about it...? If i use eprofiles will it keep looping..? And will it use more battery power than a normal wallpaper...?

yes the battery will run out faster with animated wallpaper.
