IMEI model identification

hi ye all,

Does anybody know how to determine the model of a phone from its IMEI number? maybe some sort of algorithm?

found the advanced imei generator, but unfortunately I need to check IMEI's of the 7650 and 3650, which are not included in that program.

Look at all the people requiring free unlocks in the unlocks section. Gather about 20 imeis for the modles you want and find out what numbers they all share.

There is only 2 ways to change the imei on that phone.
1st: run 12,5 V+ trought the IMEI chip and then reprogram it.
This is very DANGEROUS
2nd: Buy an new imei chip, unsolder the old one and resolder the new one. Than you just program it.
You'll need some skills with the soldering gun!

Do 7650's not use a different UEM chip than the other DCT4 phones?
