    Hi,

file Z: contains the Symbian OS 6.1. Technical it is an EEPROM- ROM, means, it cannot be edit, dele, paste and so on. Not with SeleQ or another prog.

The only possibility to delete or edit is, to plug on a flash cable and connect it to an EEPROM Burner. This is a very special part and can only delete the hole EEPROM or burn new. Editing is not possibly, it must be "overburn" the hole contain.

    This are the facts.

The only way to save space (but why) at Z: is, to burn less files to the EEPROM. But the NSC-people can (or want) burn only the complete Firmware to the EEPROM.

Imagine you: See the EEPROM like a closed CD-ROM. You cannot edit/delete or other, only reading. But insteat this, you can delete the hole contain and burn a new contain (=firmware version).
