7210 as a remote controller???

Is it possible to use my 7210 as an IR remote controller with java application???

so you like to control tv, video, that kind of stuff?
i say: impossible.

nokia phones are sending their own code, not those tv or video will understand.

buy a cheap 10-in-1 remote controller, it has table for various equipment, and you should then understand that codes are different for vcr, radio, tv etc stuff.

but, if you know what you're doing, you could change that coding.
i guess it will need some components replaced if you want to control your tv with a nokia, and then your nokia and pc won't understand eachother.
