Wheres my Ram going?

Hi i have installed smart launcher, cute lil program. It enables me to see how much ram i have. I am curious to no that with only the telephone and smart launcher running, 292k + 108k respectively. I have 2.25mb left on my c drive and 9.62mb on my card.

What i want to know is why do i only have 772k worth of memory to work with. i get countless memory full errors, if only these 2 programs are running.

Actually, I don't really now, but I have seen many posts/threads about this, from people experiencing this after installing this prog. Check it out, maybe they say something useful....

i got similar problem but wen i have 1.2mb free ram i still get memory full messages does anyone know how big the ram actaully is? ive got up to 2.2mb but launcher tells me this is still a very low value
