How do I enter the codes into a 7650

As when I put a non accepted sim into them, they don't say phone restricted.

So how do you enter the codes?

If you can put a say O2 sim in your phone and your phone was origianlly Orange and your O2 sim works then your phone is already unlocked and you don't need to enter the codes.
