Help needed plz!

HI,
Havin probs with one of my phones 3310.
Lost it for 3days then found it in garden, thought it was a gonner cause of the rain but it charged up ok and everything seems to be ok, except, i cant use all the keypad numbers as they dont all work and the phone vibrates but dont ring!
I have taken it apart and checked the inside, so i have no idea on what to do next.
Any suggestions to what i can do????

Hi!
You need to clear the pcb and key pads with some sort of methanol /Im not sure about am I writhing this correct a parfume can do the job too/ .....for the buzzer mesure it with multimeter..
You must see something around 20 ohms ....if it is not close You will need to change it.../sorry for my english/

Submerge the board in the meths with the RF shields taken off, for 20 mins! After that take it out and run under a cold tap, then using a bowl full of water with washing up liquid scrub the board firmly but carefully with a tooth brush! Go in all directions! You should scrub on both sides for a total of about 10 mins! Run under tap again thoroughly, and using a hair dryer, set it to the lowest blow mode, but highest heat! slowly run the air over the board twice each side! when thats done, lie the hardryer down and lie the board down flat with the RF shield side up! Allow the hot air to blow OVER the board not directly at it for a further 7-8mins! Allow to cool for 15mins and try it in the phone! Don't forget to replace the RF Shields if it works!!!

Thanks Chunkhead for the advice, i did as was said in both replys and i got the keypad to work, but still no ringtone!
If someone calls it only vibrates, can hear the person and they can hear me, so no probs with the earpeace etc. I even tried re-flashing it to a previous state, and no luck!
All is now ok with keypad thanks to ur advice, keypad tones work now also but very quietly, i am just at a total loss with why it wont ring only vibrate!
Thanks again for help, hope u may know how to get it to ring!

Replace the ringer! Keypad tones use the earpiece speaker! You can salvage a new ringer from a broken phone or buy one on the net! They're dirt cheap!!! Glad I could help!!!
