Plz cure strange screen

I've been given an 8210, the screen kept going off just after the battery bars displayed. I flashed v5.31 in to the phone it seemed to work until i entered the inbox or recieved calls menus, also i noticed the startup logo was not showing. So i used logomanager to fix this.

Guess what!!!!!!
back to square 1, lcd displays for two seconds then off.

Has anyone else come across this problem or have any advice for me to try.

if you have tryed flashing an clean 8210 flash file and its still showing this then i suspesct faulty screen

If the screen appears when you press down just above the screen, where the nokia logo is, then you should try replacing the rubber elastomer. They are cheap off ebay but if that doesnt work then you should try another screen, you'll need a T6 screwdriver to fit it yourself.
