No Ack Received

Hi There..

Have build the flasher dongle for DCT4 phones but i have a major problem, the dongle is a homemade one and it works atleast it gives output to the programs, but when i try to flash it gives an error message "NO ACK RECEIVED", i have tried it with both 6310i ad 8310 but they both give the same message..

I have measured and remeasured that everything is just as the schematic says it should be....

Could it be the PC that is to blame, i tried the dongle on another machine and that one did not even see the dongle, that machine was running Winfows 98 and my own is windowsME...

Have put Sub-D connectors on the cables so i can use it both with F/Mbus cable and flasher dongle...

The connection in the connector is ok as it works okay with M/FBUS to unlock with, it just wont flash with the dongle


Anyone in the same situation or have been there and solved the problem ???

Have tried alot of programs and all give same answer and tried updating FIA files as suggested by someone..

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Hello did you check your cable contacts? I had this problem, when the connector was dirty, and i had to clean them, but after everything was ok.

but this phone zero and dongle and cables very good, another problem what?

Just upgraded to 5.80, the phone just went off dead and when i tried to re flash it, it show NO ACK RECEIVED
