hie there again vip3r,
we meet again, only this time i have the answer to your question
...hehehehe...
so basically the format of polytones are .mid whereas the monotones has a rather unknown format which is .ota....in windows explorer, u can use winamp or windows media player to play polytones but for monotones, it seems .ota can only be opened with oxygen phone manager...i cant really gurantee whether this .ota format will really work in oxygen program coz i never tried yet, so test it out yourself
by the way, i dont think u can open this monotones in logomanager becoz the format is not supported, but still then, try it, they might work...till then, bye!!![]()
they're named OTA coz its downloaded over the air (i think). midi ringtones will get an ota extension too if they were downloaded via wap.
thanx for your suggestion, i tried using OPM2 and managed to find out that the filetype is .rt, now anyone know if there is a program to convert an .rt ringtone to rttl or .rtx file format? i need to open the tones in logomanager to send them to older monophonic phones.
hello brother viper,
sorry i cant help u much last time but hey, i think u are right over the .ota format...totally agree with u over this matter...anyway, sorry i didnt realise that monophonic tones also comes in a another format which is .rt...i knew this earlier but i forgot to tell ya about it, till then, good luck in wat u are looking!!!![]()
