PC suite 7650 for OS XP

I have upgrade my windows 98se to Windows XP but my pc suite fro 7650 cannot get access to my phone via IR why?

erm... you can try to download the latest PC Suite from the Nokia website. I think it would work better.

Well , here i'm getting a similar problem , with my Nokia PC Suite , i can get the phone to be detected over IR , i'm using an USB Tekram adapter caled IRmate IR 410-W , i can acess the phone and transmit to it, install app's , images to the phone , but when i'm transmiting from the phone to the pC , for example some images , it start's , transmit's some , an then just says the devide was disconected , off cousse the transmisions stops ans gives an error , and right away the device is conected again , in images that is no a problem jus transmit some at a time , but in the phone backup , that it is something very usefull it does the same thing , waht coud it be ?? , well dinstance it's something tha canot be , the fone is lesse than 5 cm from the IR , maybe PC Suite Fault (i instaled the one that came with the phone) so maybe ill try an upgrade , since it doesn't seam to be a phone problem , nor the IR device , at the moment my problem is that i do not have another PC to try it on
