Taking covers off the 7650 2clean the dust?

Can u somehow take off the front cover of a 7650 to clean the dust that got under the screen? If not how can u get it outa there anyway? Thx.

I have the some problem. Try to knock LCD carefully with finger on the places where is dust, try to move the dust to the LCD edges.

it is possible to open it, but you need special tools and steady hands, and it could seriously mess it up.

I have scratched the screen real bad (pissed night out and a hole in the pocket (CRY)). You can replace the front cover at carscone warehouse but it cost £40 to do. So yeh, you need the right tools just to take the front off, make sure you have some idea how.

You only need a Torx-6 Screwdriver to open the 7650...
this thing costs around 3 Euro here in Germany and also works on older Nokia Devices such as 3xxx !

You have to completely open the 7650 to get to the front cover, i did it twice myself, cause the dust really sucked.

If you have little knowledge in technics and a clean surface/room, it should be no problem to do it yourself.

thx, ppl, already found a guide on how to disassemble a 7650 including a big video. and yes, u need a torx screwdriver to open it but after the tricky part with the rails...

about the rails part, yes... is a damn tricky job BUT, you don't need the torx look-a-like special tools at all... I used a small normal screwdriver, and I had no problem at all, and it did not damage the screws...
