Closing App vs. Killing App

I just downloaded appman from my 3650 and I see there's an option for killing applications, and another option for closing application. Can someone tell me what's the differnce between killing and closing an application.

k the difference is that close app is too close an app and kill app is used for lets u cant close a program using the option close app. if u use kill app it will completely kill the app and close the program.Basically you use kill app if one of ur apps get stuck and u cant close it all. there thats the differe nce
