3650 safe mode with mmc???

Hi....my mmc will boot in safe mode....but in normal boot...it gives system error and basically da fone hangs. Any ideas as to wots going on? thanks alot.

I formatted my mmc and now it seems to work fine!!!

After format....its showing only 15mb tho? I thot da card was 16mb???

Let's take an example of a 64MB memory card, so you can see a noticable difference.


By manufacturer's logic:
1000B = 1Kb
1000Kb = 1Mb

1024 Bytes = 1 Kb
1024Kb = 1mb


so by means of doing some mathy stuff,

1mb = 1048576 Bytes (not 1000000)

1Mb (by manufactures logic)
is equal to 1000000 Bytes, however it is 1.048576 actually.

So the "64 Mb" Memory card is actually:

"64MB" / 1.048576

(or is your case 16 / 1.048576)

which gives you a grand total of

61.035156 Mb.

(Again in your case, it would be 15.258789 Mb)

The bigger the memory, the more you will loose. I lost 10 Gigs of my computer's hard drive.

And another thing.....

to go in safe mode just hold down the abc (pencil button) when you turn on your mobile

thanks for dat info johnnyspliff.....so I guess ther is nothing wrong with my mmc? Its under warranty and i can get it xchnaged....so thas why i was wondering.

no there's nothing wrong with your mmc. This happens wth all cards when you format them.
