In relation to the series 40 nokias (except the 7250), why does the amount of phone memory vary from 600k to 800k? Does it all depend on the firmware version you have? What is the phone memory size on the 7250? Is it 3.5 meg? Any help would be great

This memory size also always puzzles me... i have just calculated alltgether 592.9 KB for my 6610 usable for games/applications/gallery..... but there's also a chunk reserved for phone book, calendar etc, no idea how big that is.
My boyfriend's 7250 reported "5.0 MB free" when it was brand new and did not have any custom ringtones/pics/games etc. stored.
However it also has this chunk for phonebook and stuff. So i guess that the 6610/7210 (which are hardware wise the same phone) have together 800 KB of which 200 is reserved, and the 7250 may have 5.5 MB of which 0.5 is reserved.......

Thanks for that, i might have to one day buy a 7250, not for the camera, but for the memory
