nokia 7210 (new one) - contract to PAYG

Managed to blag a 7210 but want to know how to get it from contact to PAYG. I'm new here so go easy on me. Cheers.

Simply ring up your operator and cancel your contract? That's if you want a new PAYG SIM and number (which you buy elsewhere) and you might have to pay a fee if you have broke your contract early...

Or speak to them about porting the number from contract-->PAYG although im not too sure about this, or if possible

Another way is to unlock your phone so it works on all networks then buy a brand new simcard but register it to a old phone then once its been activated swap it into you contract 7210.....

If the phone gets cut off through non-payment it wont barr the phone anyway only the sim..........
