I bought a flasher cable for my NOKIA 3310 , but it did not work so finally I opened it to find the error.
I found that that the Parallel port connector was wrongly connected to the IC 7414 's pins.(I used the diagram attached here as the reference).
The errors were that the pins 1 to 13( in the diagram) were named as 13 to 1 on my connector ,and pins 14 to 25(in the diagram) were named as 25 to 14 on my connector.
But considering the pin nos. on the diagram, the connections were correctly made. for example, if pin 1 of the IC was to be connected to pin 2 on the connector, it was connectec to the pin 2(which was wrongly named) on the connector.
If i have not confused you, please tell me if should make the connections according to the positions on the diagram and not the pin nos. on my connector.
