7110 5.01 help!!!

i flashed my 7110 to the 5.01 version numberbut i have a problem, the only way for the message alert tone to sound is to also set the keypad tones to ON, if i turn the keypad tones off, the message alert won't sound...please, i'm a newbie and i really need your help... =)

Sounds like you have a bad flash! Get a new one and a virgin eeprom and try again!

I'm using ver 5.01 on my 7110 and vibration doesn't work. Is it a flash problem?

i reflashed the firmware but it still has the problem. i tried a clean one and it worked well, but when i have modified the flash, the problem came back. is there a way to modify the flash and still not get the problem?

change the vibrate or try to pull vibrate connector high

Everytime you modify the flash, you must Kill the checksums! Use Nfader!
