need help unlocking a nokia 3410 (dct3??) with data cable

Hello forum, i bought a data cable for a nokia 3410 (as i was told this is the only way to unlock it) anyway... ive tried some software programes Noktool/DCT3unlocker and newnokiatool034 but i always get the same message "phone not connected" but it is connected, the cable and phone work fine with a logomanager programe. I would be very grateful to anyone who can help in anyway or pass on a link to a software programe.

You may of got a FBUS only cable use logomanager to check this in the tools-->options-->communications-->change-->cable type-->DAU-9P (MBUS) adn see if the phone is detected if not NO unlocking program I know of will work.

Also on the cable there may be a switch with a F and M on it make sure its set to M

hi, just looked at the cable and it has faulty connectors, luckily for me i got it to work and phone is finaly unlocked!
