modify .rsc files !!???!?! who knows ?

Hi boyz... anyone knows how to modify and leave the file compatible for the program ??? I want to modify it because I want to translate my favourite programs in my language...

for example i was trying to translate the launcher.rsc (Slauncher) language file and I noticed that if only modify a word or a char and save and overwrite the old file (on phone) the application won't start !! ???

why it give to me this error ? I also checked the size of the original file and the modified one and they are the same !!!!!!

someone who know how to do it, can please explain to me the right way to do ??

you need to edit the text with something like WinHex, you cant use a normal text editor. Plus, if i remember right, you can only change the lettering thats already there, not add on to it (like for example...if the english word was Cat in the program, spanish Gato would not work, the program only has space for 3 letters.) I *think* there is a way to add in room for more text....but i cant remember how its been so long

Thaks a lot sky! I'll get WinHex somewere.... about the lenght of the string I supposed that I can modify only the existing letters....
