Thanks again. It said phone is unlocked but is still not accepting my 02 sim. Says 'sim registration failed'.

Do i just give up now???

1:> this meens that your fone is unlocked but the sim you have is not working or is not regested

2:> Or that sim card is burnt out ......plz try an other sim card

checked phone with 2 other sim cards. At first it shows up with the network of the new sim (02) then fades and 'sim card registration failed' appears and no network is present.

i dont think so. my friend used it for a while on orange then got a new one,,so gave me the 8310.

Hi,
was hoping some could help me?

I have an orange UK 8310e IMEI number is

350844/10/250648/9

I have brought a local sim card out in China and want to be able to use it with that, when I insert the sim it says the phone is Restricted, and asks for Restriction code, does anyone have this code or have an unblock code I can put in the phone when I have the orange sim in?
