jar files from yahoo

does anybody knows why when downloading a jar file (mostly from yahoo 3650 groups )the complete download opens and there are no jar and jad files.instead there are the icons of the games and some other files needed for the game...but there's no way i can install these files unless it's a jar file....

It's a .zip file wiyh a load of .class files in it right? Just rename the .zip file to .jar. For example, king of fighters.zip would become king of fighters.jar.

If you can't rename it (and instead end up with king of fighters.jar.zip), then do this:

Open up any folder on your computer.m Click "tools", "folder options", "view" and then make sure there is no tick the the "hide extensions for known file types" box.
