Help! V66 locks up when typing SMS

Not much more to say really, that's what is does, can I fix it?

I flashed the v66 with the next latest flash after the version already in the phone. (sap4_g_010620r_lang0005_ful.vfl) using Victor 3.2.3. All went well. The phone didn't lock up all evening.

But.... It wouldn't turn on the next day, now Victor can't see it.

Have made up lead with 13/14 short, Victor now detects phone but when trying to flash, I get "Unable to set baud rate". Any suggestions?
