unlocking 3300

My couson has a 3300 and it comes up sim blocked.
Is there anyway of getting this phone to work again?
I have the cable just need to know what program or code i need
to unlock it.

If it says sim blocked
that meens that he put in the wrong pin number more than 3 times
all you have ti do is ask you Service Provider fo the PUK number they
give it to you, its a 8 digit number.
if not just get a new Sim card

no mate it comes up sim card registration failed.
what does that mean?

this meens that your sim card may not be activated yet if the sim is new
or that you sim card is damaged or that the fone is barred
meening that the fone was reported lost or stolen
try an other working card in the fone
first

I think its barred have no idea where he got it from.
Is there anyway to sort it out or should i tell him to
go buy 1 the silly bastard lol

just sell it to some one oversees
