I tried a virgin mobile sim and hey presto..it worked!

It probably would have worked first time if the truth be known but i never thought of trying the sim!

i got a code error message. I took the sim out and turned the phone on and entered the code. I tried another sim card and it said restricted card access.

Actually he has still got his unlocking software set for a type 5 phone thats why the code is incorrect!
