I have downloaded games to my phone and they were saved to my inbox, when i try to download them to my applications it says 'unable to install'.
Anyone know what i am doing wrong? i have never saved something to my applications or manager folders before, do i have to activate it?

i sent pretty much same post the other day but noone replied.

    thanks

On my comp it is saving as .jar, but when i send it to my phone it saves it as .zip but is still .jar on my computer, is there a setting on my phone that i need to change or is it something to do with when im sending it to my phone from the computer?

    thanks again

You cant just rename the .zip to .jar

That wont work, you have to unzip the .zip file. The .jar should be inside it.

Umm depends, open up the zip file on your PC using Winzip or whatever, and look at the file, it if contains a *.jar file then extract the file and send it accross to your phone, if it contains a *.sis file then do the same thing, howerver if you get a whole lot of *.class files etc then leave the file in a zip format, rename it so it has a *.jar extension and send it over to your phone, you shouldn't have any probs now..
    Cheers
