Help! App. closed mce...

Hi! Finally got myself an upgrade after years with 8210. Got my 6600 two days ago, and it was working great until...

yesterday. everytime i try to access the messenger, and create a new text message, an error message "app. closed mce" kept appearing. pressing "okay" took me out back to the menu. A pattern of sorts I realized later..that is it only happens whenever i access the messenger from the menu. If i go to the messenger screen and change the setting, any settings (receipt, saved sent, etc), I'm able to create n send a new text msg. but once i quit to the main (standby mode, nokia calls it) and try again (and again), the same error msg appeared. The Nokia carecenter ain't too sure what's wrong...so, anyone has any ideas?

i had that prob too, all i did, was clear the log files, in "log". not sure it works, but it worked for my 3650.

Tried...cleared everything, the log, the sent items, the receipts...but once i exit to the main, and access again, the msg pops up again...

maybe if i delete all msgs...geez

sigh. thanx anyways. might have to try the 3-buttons reset i read somewhere in the forum...

on anther note, i am having difficulties getting to yahoo...can't even access the homepage...let alone the groups...is it just me or yahoo? check cnn.com =), no news on yahoo.com..hehe. only bush in britain...hmm.

well, if u wanna format, the code is *#7370#. maybe u wanna try deleting a system.ini file in ur fone b4 u format, delete tt file, reboot ur fone.
