7250 problem barred? restricted?

my phone says Phone restricted when i try and put my o2 sim in it, does this mean its barred? i thought sim reistration failed or three beeps meant it was barred. I contacted the seller and he pointed out that the auction said no refunds etc

It could be locked to a certain network. I have no idea what network it was on though, so i can`t get an unlock code. is there any way to find out what network its on? the seller will not reply to my e-mails asking for this info.

If i try sim cards from different networks there should be some difference in error message or a signal if i put the right networks sim in.

If anyone has any ideas tell me thanks.

if your fone is locked you will get a message like
Sim car not accepted or Sim card Restricted
or sim restricted
if you fone is barred you wont get any massage
only thing it will say is sim Registration failed
it will work normaly but just wont make calls or recive calls ( no Network Covarage )

So theres still hope for my 7250 yet

how can i find out what network it was on though?
any ideas?

Just try Other sim cards in the fone till you see witch is the one that work or use the cable way
to unlock your fone
but if it is BARRED you cant do anything with it
you will have to change the UEM chip in order of it to work again
