What network and country is the phone locked to now?

Yes, as long as the IMEI is correct and it locked to T-Mobile USA, it should work.

ONLY ENTER CODE ONCE!!!! You have 5 tries.

Please don't use any of the codes from the other thread (for Spanish carriers). They are all wrong....

Yes, what you need to do is:

1. Supply the phone model
2. Supply the network code (and country) the phone is locked to.

Then you can use the phone with any carrier that uses the same frequencies.


Did you enter the code and get the "Unrestricted" message???

The phone might not be unlocked at all. Try putting a SIM card from another network into the phone and see if it works before trying any more codes.

Check to see if it is unlocked by putting another networks SIM in it. Did you buy the phone from T-Mobile in USA???

I don't think it's locked. Make sure you try putting another SIM in the phone. (If you're still in the US, try a Cingular or AT&T SIM card)

If another SIM card works, it is already unlocked.
