    3650 and MMC problem

I just got a new 128MB ATP MMC and Im having a problem with it... Sometimes the phone can see the mmc and sometimes its just not there... Most of the time, it can see the card as soon as it boots up, but then it will simply loose it and start giving system errors for apps that I installed in the MMC... Anyone can help with this?

The original 16MB Nokia mmc works perfectly, so its not a phone problem... I even had formatted the phone before I used the new mmc. I formatted the mmc 3-4 times on the phone with no problems, but it keeps pulling its dissapearing act.

ther's really nuthin in dis situation dat u can do except for cleaning da connectors n try to secure da mmc in its slot as tight n snug as possible.

If dat doesnt work, Im afraid u hafta replace ur mmc.

Wots ur firmware? Im on 2.54 n using a PQI 128MB without any probs.

I have a 256 MicroSim (tm) in both my 3650 and 6600 with NO problems ...

i have heard of some ppl of having problems with some mmc's brands ...not reconizing .. etc ...

but i know for sure that Microsim (tm) has worked for me flawlessly for me for the last several mos.

Well, one thing is for sure... Im glad Im not the only one who though to push the mmc with pieces of paper

Actually, I had tried putting bits of paper in different places to make sure the mmc wasnt loose, but it didnt work... Now I just used a whole strip of paper (the width of an A4 paper to be exact)... I folded it several times and I placed it over the mmc and under the battery.. So far so good... Everything seems to be fine now Thanks for the help guys..

As for the corrupted card message... i got that on my 16Mb mmc right after I had it reformated... I just rebooted the phone and formated the card again and everything was ok.. Maybe you should try that. Otherwise, try to format the card in a different device, like a camera or an mmc reader... Maybe that would fix the problem.
